Job description
Teaching Personnel is recruiting a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join one school located in either Bolton or Wigan.
This is a full-time, long-term position, working Monday to Friday during school hours, offering the opportunity to make a lasting impact on pupils with additional needs in a supportive school environment.
We're looking for an experienced teacher with a strong understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and the ability to create engaging, inclusive lessons that help every pupil reach their full potential.
The Role:
- Full-time only
- Monday to Friday
- School hours
- Based in one school in either Bolton or Wigan
- Long-term opportunity with a supportive leadership team
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils' individual needs
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs and other professionals to support pupil progress
We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Previous experience teaching pupils with SEN, or within a specialist or inclusive setting
- A strong understanding of a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD and speech and language needs
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A patient, adaptable and positive approach
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
