Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a highly supportive SEN school in Manchester to recruit a dedicated SEN Teacher for a full-time role starting in September. The school caters for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), SEMH, communication and interaction difficulties, learning disabilities, sensory needs, and complex behavioural needs.

The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering creative and engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of your pupils. You will play a key role in supporting educational progress while nurturing emotional wellbeing and personal development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, adapted lessons that meet diverse learning needs.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
- Support pupils in achieving their EHCP outcomes.
- Use innovative and engaging teaching approaches to maximise participation.
- Work alongside support staff and external professionals to provide the best outcomes for learners.
- Foster a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Previous experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs.
- A strong understanding of differentiated teaching and inclusive practice.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A resilient, patient, and proactive approach to teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
