SEN Teacher – Halifax, Huddersfield & Surrounding Areas
£160–£220 per day (dependent on experience)
Full-time and Part-time | Long-term and Short-term roles available
We are working with a range of mainstream and specialist SEN settings across Halifax, Huddersfield and surrounding areas and are currently recruiting SEN Teachers to meet ongoing demand.
These roles offer flexibility, with opportunities available on a long-term, short-term, temporary or day-to-day supply basis, depending on your availability and preference.
The Role:
-
Teaching pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, MLD, SLD and PMLD

Planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs

Creating a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment
-
Working closely with support staff, SENCOs and external professionals
-
Roles available across primary, secondary and specialist provisions
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Holds QTS or QTLS
-
Has experience working with pupils with SEN (mainstream or specialist settings)
-
Demonstrates strong behaviour management and a nurturing, patient approach
-
Is flexible, reliable and committed to inclusive education
-
ECTs with relevant SEN experience are welcome to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
