Are you a dedicated and compassionate educator with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs? We're excited to announce opportunities for SEN Teachers to join our brand-new SEN school in Derby, opening in September 2025.

We cater to a diverse range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, and other complex learning difficulties. Our mission is to empower students through personalized education plans, fostering both academic and personal growth.

The Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and support staff, to provide holistic support.
  • Create a safe and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies to ensure continuous development.
  • Engage with parents and caregivers to support student learning beyond the classroom.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with SEN, particularly those with ASC and SEMH needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible and creative approach to teaching.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
