Job description

Join Our Dedicated SEN Teaching Team

We are currently recruiting passionate and skilled Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teachers for adhoc, part-time, and full-time positions across a range of inclusive educational settings, including mainstream schools, specialist provisions, and alternative education environments.

This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers who are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.


About the Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)

  • Support pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and PMLD

  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, SENCOs, and external professionals

  • Monitor progress and adapt strategies to ensure positive learning outcomes

  • Promote pupils’ emotional wellbeing, independence, and social development

Roles are available on a flexible basis:

  • Adhoc / Supply – Flexible days to suit your availability

  • Part-Time – Consistent schedule with work-life balance

  • Full-Time – Long-term and permanent opportunities


✅ Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN

  • Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies

  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills

  • A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach

Early Career Teachers with SEN placement experience are welcome to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
