Are you an NQT or FQT looking for a full-time role this academic year and next within a PRU or Behaviour Provision in Bridgend?
Teaching Personnel would love to hear from you!

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and resilient Secondary School Teacher to work full-time within one of our PRU / Behaviour Provision Partnership Schools in Bridgend, starting as soon as possible.

This role is ideal for teachers who are passionate about supporting pupils with additional behavioural, social, and emotional needs. You will play a vital role in helping students re-engage with education, build self-confidence, and achieve positive outcomes in a nurturing and structured environment. We are looking for teachers who can inspire, motivate, and provide consistency while recognising each pupil’s individual strengths and challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
  • Manage behaviour positively using clear boundaries and trauma-informed approaches
  • Monitor pupil progress and support their academic, social, and emotional development
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and staff members
  • Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

Position Details

  • Role: Teacher (various subjects considered)
  • Setting: PRU / Behaviour Provision
  • Salary: From £172.98 per day (dependent on experience)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Location: Bridgend

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) 
  • DBS Child Workforce Check registered on the Update Service (we can assist with this)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach to managing challenging behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
