The ideal candidate will be a highly-skilled and accomplished teacher with a proven track record of teaching students with special educational needs. They will have a passion for providing high-quality education to students with a range of SEN needs and will be committed to supporting their academic and personal development.

As a Teacher of SEN, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons that cater to the individual needs of each student. They will be expected to use a variety of teaching methods and resources to ensure that every student is given the opportunity to reach their full potential.

In addition to their teaching responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider development of the school's SEN provision. They will be expected to contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of the school's SEN policy and to provide advice and guidance to colleagues on issues relating to SEN.

The school is looking for a highly motivated, flexible and committed individual who is able to work effectively as part of a team. They must have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with students, colleagues and parents.

Candidates should hold a recognised teaching qualification (QTS) and have experience of working in a special educational needs setting. They should also be familiar with the SEN Code of Practice and have a good understanding of the needs of students with a range of SEN requirements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
