Job description

Full-Time Primary Class Teacher – SEN School – Bolton

Bolton, Greater Manchester, BL3 

Full-Time Position Only – Monday to Friday

A specialist primary provision in Bolton is seeking a committed full-time Class Teacher to join their team. The school requires someone who can provide consistent, full-time classroom leadership, so candidates must be available five days per week.

This setting supports pupils with a range of additional needs and focuses on creating a structured, nurturing environment where pupils feel safe and supported in their learning.

Key responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons

  • Leading the classroom full-time and providing daily consistency for pupils

  • Working closely with Teaching Assistants and SEN support staff

  • Supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development

  • Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching within a primary setting

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • Full-time availability Monday–Friday is essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
