Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and passionate SEN Teachers to join our team supporting specialist Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across:
Aylesbury, Reading and Newbury
We are currently recruiting for:

SEN Teachers (Primary & Secondary)
Start Date: As soon as vetting is completed
Contract: Flexible roles – long-term, short-term, and permanent opportunities available
About the Schools & Students:
You will be working in supportive, specialist SEN settings that cater for children and young people aged 5–18 with a range of additional needs, including:

Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
-
Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
-
Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
-
Speech, Language and Communication needs (SLCN)
-
ADHD and associated behavioural needs
-
Sensory processing difficulties
Each school offers a nurturing and structured learning environment, where pupils are supported to thrive both academically and emotionally. Teachers work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, behaviour specialists, and families to deliver personalised and holistic support.
The Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for:

Planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
-
Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
-
Managing behaviour using positive and trauma-informed approaches
-
Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly
-
Contributing to EHCP targets, reviews, and multi-agency collaboration

About You:
We are looking for teachers who are:
-
Passionate about inclusive and SEN education
-
Patient, empathetic, and resilient
-
Confident differentiating learning and managing behaviour positively
-
Adaptable and committed to supporting pupils with complex needs
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) is essential.
Experience within SEN or specialist settings is highly desirable but not essential — full support and training will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
