We’re working closely with local Aylesbury schools seeking caring, enthusiastic, and professional teachers to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Role Overview

The role requires someone confident in teaching, assessing, and planning lessons

6+ month placement (initially)
-
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm

Start date: ASAP

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Reliable, empathetic, and committed

Passionate about helping children achieve their potential

Strong classroom management and adaptable teaching skills
Key Responsibilities
-
Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet individual pupil needs
-
Teach whole-class, small group, and 1:1 sessions
-
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
-
Support pupils’ wellbeing, social development, and SEN, ASD & SEMH needs
-
Deliver a broad curriculum as a cover teacher, including:
-
Year 8 English, Maths, and PSHE
-
Year 10/11 ASDAN and NCFE Business & Enterprise (with TA support)

Manage a challenging Year 8 group, including pupils with significant speech and language needs, supported by 2–3 TAs per lesson

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
