Local Aylesbury Schools | SEN, ASD & SEMH | Full-time & Part-time

Are you a qualified teacher with QTS looking for your next rewarding role?
We’re working closely with local Aylesbury schools seeking caring, enthusiastic, and professional teachers to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Role Overview

  • The role requires someone confident in teaching, assessing, and planning lessons

  • 6+ month placement (initially)

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm

  • Start date: ASAP

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Reliable, empathetic, and committed

  • Passionate about helping children achieve their potential

  • Strong classroom management and adaptable teaching skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet individual pupil needs

  • Teach whole-class, small group, and 1:1 sessions

  • Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback

  • Support pupils’ wellbeing, social development, and SEN, ASD & SEMH needs

  • Deliver a broad curriculum as a cover teacher, including:

    • Year 8 English, Maths, and PSHE

    • Year 10/11 ASDAN and NCFE Business & Enterprise (with TA support)

  • Manage a challenging Year 8 group, including pupils with significant speech and language needs, supported by 2–3 TAs per lesson

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
