SEN Teacher – Bradford

Daily Rate: £160–£190/day | Start Date: September 2025 | Contract: Full-time, long-term

We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable SEN Teacher to join a specialist provision in Wakefield. The role will involve working with pupils aged 7–16 with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, social, emotional & mental health (SEMH) needs, and communication difficulties.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering engaging lessons tailored to pupils’ individual needs

  • Working with EHCPs and implementing strategies for learning and behaviour

  • Creating a safe, structured classroom environment where every pupil feels supported

  • Leading a small group of students with high levels of differentiation

  • Working alongside TAs, therapists, and SENCo to promote holistic development

Ideal candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs welcome to apply)

  • Experience working in SEN, PRU, or alternative provisions

  • Strong classroom management with a nurturing, resilient approach

  • Flexible and creative, with excellent communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
