Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Windsor. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting. Your role will involve working closely with teachers to help create a positive learning environment and ensure that students with SEN are able to fully participate in educational activities.

Job Duties:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Help students with SEN to develop their social and communication skills
  • Support the teacher in managing classroom behaviour
  • Monitor and record student progress

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate
  • Passion for education and supporting students with diverse learning needs

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proactive and adaptable approach
  • Effective communication and time management skills
  • Patience and empathy
  • Strong behavioural management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning
  • Training in specific SEN interventions

Working Conditions:

The role of SEN Teaching Assistant in Windsor involves working full-time hours in a classroom environment. You will collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support the educational development of students with SEN. A compassionate and patient approach is essential to succeed in this rewarding role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
