Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting SEN Support Assistants to work across a range of Primary and Secondary schools in the Skelmersdale area. We are looking for dedicated, patient, and enthusiastic individuals who are committed to supporting pupils with additional needs to achieve their full potential.
About the Role
As an SEN Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support to pupils with a variety of needs, including:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- ADHD
- Learning Disabilities
- Speech and Language Difficulties
- Challenging Behaviour
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support.
- Supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and social development.
- Assisting with learning activities and differentiated work.
- Helping to create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
Ideal Candidate

- Coaching or mentoring roles

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
