Job Title: SEN Support Assistant
Location: Camberley, Surrey
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Term-time only

About the Role
We’re on the lookout for kind, reliable, and enthusiastic SEN Support Assistants to work in schools across Camberley. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to play a key part in helping pupils with additional needs feel supported, understood, and confident in their learning environment.

You’ll be making a real difference day-to-day—whether that’s helping a pupil stay engaged in class, supporting their communication skills, or simply being a positive and encouraging presence.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs
  • Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and adapting activities where needed
  • Encouraging pupils’ confidence, independence, and social skills
  • Supporting behaviour in a calm and positive manner
  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment
  • Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to support individual learning plans

What We’re Looking For

  • A patient, caring, and positive attitude
  • A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
  • Experience in SEN, education, or care is helpful but not essential
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • A flexible and proactive approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
