We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated SEN Science Teacher to join one of our partner SEN schools in Towcester to teach 11-16 pupils.

The ideal SEN Science Teacher for this role will recognise the importance of Science and its uses and impact on our everyday lives. A successful SEN Science Teacher will use innovative ways to explain the core curriculum in order to engage more challenging students. It is imperative to explain this is in a clear and practical way making sure all the pupils develop their knowledge to the best of their ability and are fully prepared for GCSE and vocational exam boards.

As a SEN Science Teacher, you must:

  • Show evidence of good classroom practice
  • Have the aptitudes to nurture, encourage, motivate and stimulate young people
  • Show good organisation and communication skills
  • Experience of teaching and/or working with children with SEMH
  • QTS or relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTLS, PTTLS)
  • A clear understanding of the National Curriculum

About the SEN Science Teacher role:

  • Full time
  • Earn between GBP120 - GBP170 per day / paid to scale
  • Permanent job for the successful candidates
