SEN Primary Teacher

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Primary Class Teacher for a specialist SEMH provision based in Carshalton, Surrey. The school is dedicated to pupils with SEMH, social and behavioural needs. 

  • Full-time role (Monday to Friday) term-time only 
  • Temp to perm 
  • Small class sizes (8 maximum plus classroom support)
  • In-house training and CPD 
  • Fantastic pay rates + SEN allowance, with opportunity to increase over time 
  • Carshalton, Surrey 
  • Paid weekly (PAYE)


The ideal candidate will:


  • Be able to plan deliver the KS1 and KS2 curriculums 
  • Have QTS (experienced and NQTs welcome)
  • Experience working with students with SEMH, social and behavioural needs and be passionate about supporting these students
  • Have excellent classroom management skills
  • Be a team player and have the ability to adapt to new environments
  • Have Team-Teach and positive handling training (desirable, not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
