SEN Primary Classroom Support Assistant
Full-Time | September Start | Primary School Setting
Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive in the classroom? Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced SEN Primary Classroom Support Assistant to join a supportive primary school from September.
In this rewarding role, you will support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language Needs (SLCN, and learning difficulties. Working closely with the class teacher, you'll play a key role in helping children access learning, build confidence, and achieve their individual goals.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN.
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
- Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and independence.
- Support pupils' communication, social development, and emotional wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN is essential.
- A patient, proactive, and caring approach.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children to succeed.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
