Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEN School and College in Bury. This rewarding full-time role involves supporting young people aged 11-19 with a range of additional and complex needs across both secondary and post-16 settings.

What You'll Be Doing
Providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support to young people with additional needs
Supporting students in the classroom and during daily activities to maximise engagement and learning
Assisting individuals with a range of SEN and complex needs
Supporting personal care where required, promoting dignity, respect, and independence
Using positive behaviour support strategies to manage and de-escalate challenging situations
Helping students develop communication, social, and life skills
Encouraging independence and preparing young people for adulthood
Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
Working closely with teachers, therapists, support staff, and families to achieve the best outcomes for each learner

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
