SEN Learning Assistant – Full-Time | Aylesbury

Aylesbury | ⏰ Full-Time | SEN Schools | Long-Term & Permanent Opportunities

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs? We are looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic SEN Learning Assistants to join specialist schools across Aylesbury on a full-time basis.

We’re looking for:

  • Previous SEN, education, support work or care experience
  • Available 5 days a week
  • Comfortable supporting with personal care where required
  • A patient, calm and nurturing approach
  • Someone committed to a long-term or permanent position
  • A genuine passion for helping pupils learn, develop and become more independent

The role:

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support
  • Supporting pupils with learning, communication and development
  • Helping manage emotional and behavioural needs
  • Supporting with personal care and daily routines
  • Building positive relationships with pupils
  • Working closely with teachers and the wider SEN team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
