Teaching Personnel is recruiting a SEN Teacher to join a supportive Primary SEN School in Trafford. This full-time opportunity is available for an immediate start and involves teaching pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language Difficulties, SEMH needs, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and complex learning needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Develop and implement EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies.
- Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress effectively.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents/carers.
- Support pupils' academic, social, emotional, and communication development.
- Implement positive behaviour management strategies and sensory support where required.
- Contribute to annual reviews, reports, and multi-agency meetings.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching children with SEN, or a strong interest in SEN education.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of learning needs.
- Patient, resilient, and compassionate approach to teaching.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education practices.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
