Ongoing training and development opportunities are available, making this role suitable for both experienced candidates and those with transferable skills looking to move into education.

Facilities are designed to support SEN learners and include dedicated intervention spaces, calm breakout areas, and well-equipped classrooms that promote a structured and engaging learning environment. The school is easily accessible via public transport and offers on-site parking.

The Role
As an SEN Inclusion Assistant, you will support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them engage in lessons and manage their individual needs. You will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to implement support strategies and contribute to pupils’ academic and social progress.

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN

  • Assist with EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and structured environment
  • Support engagement and access to the curriculum
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people (or transferable experience)
  • Calm, patient, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships
  • Genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs
  • Willingness to learn and develop

What the School Offers:

  • Supportive leadership and team environment
  • Ongoing CPD and SEN-focused training
  • Inclusive and welcoming school community
  • Opportunities for progression
  • Excellent facilities and resources
  • Flexible working options
  • Good transport links and on-site parking

Additional Information:

  • Competitive daily rate depending on experience
  • Immediate and September starts available
