About the School
We are working with an exceptional Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Wokingham, designed specifically to meet the needs of neurodiverse children. The school provides a supportive and stimulating environment for both staff and students, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
The school caters for a range of needs, with a primary focus on:
- High-functioning autism
- Anxiety
- Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA)
The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high-quality teaching tailored to individual needs and small groups.
- Identify and support students across all levels of need.
- Set challenging targets and maintain high aspirations for every learner.
- Create and maintain a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement care plans.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience working within SEN settings.
- Patient, calm, and empathetic approach.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to develop and implement personalised care plans.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
