We are looking for an experienced member of staff to take on a truly unique opportunity supporting a pupil with SEMH on a 1:1 basis in a fantastic Primary School in Childwall L16. The position is due to start in September 2021 and is due to run until the end of the academic year. The role is full time, 5 days a week within school hours.
The school is 3 form entry and has excellent facilities to support SEN pupils on both a 1:1 basis, as well as in small groups. This opportunity is great for those who have previous experience supporting individuals with SEMH and are looking to work full-time hours in a mainstream primary school.
Ideal applicants are those with:
- Extensive experience supporting those with SEMH/Behavioural difficulties
- Background in care
- Safeguarding Training
- A drive to help others
- Experience working within a school environment supporting KS1/KS2 pupils
- Teaching Assistant Experience – Primary/Secondary/SEN
In your role you will be expected to actively contribute in class activities, as well as provide 1:1 support to the pupil.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
