Your responsibilities will include:

  • Pupils enjoy a wide variety of lunchtime and after‑school clubs, chosen based on pupil feedback to offer something for everyone.
  • The school has a designated SEMH resourced provision, supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental‑health needs.
  • There is a strong focus on reading, with pupils talking enthusiastically about their favourite authors and books.
  • Leadership is described as exemplary, driving continuous improvement and maintaining high expectations across the school.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience supporting children with SEMH needs or behaviour‑related challenges.
  • A calm, patient approach focused on nurturing and building trust.
  • Understanding of trauma‑informed practice, emotional‑regulation strategies or behaviour‑support approaches (desirable but not essential).
  • Previous experience within educational, care or youth‑work settings.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).
