Exciting Opportunity: SEMH Teaching Assistant (Primary & Secondary)

We’re looking for a passionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team supporting both primary and secondary pupils who thrive with the right mix of structure, empathy, and energy.
About the role:
Every day is different — and that’s what makes it brilliant. You’ll be helping pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs to access learning, build confidence, and develop positive relationships in a nurturing, supportive environment.

What we’re looking for:
- Calm, patient and resilient personality
- Genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
- Ability to adapt across primary and secondary settings
- A sense of humour (essential — we promise!)
- Team player who can also think on their feet
Experience in SEMH, SEN, youth work or care is a bonus — but attitude matters most.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
