Teaching Assistant – SEMH / PRU Provision – September Start
We are currently working with a specialist SEMH provision and PRU that is looking to appoint a compassionate and resilient Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
The school caters for pupils from Years 1–11, supporting children and young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs in a nurturing and structured environment.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to help pupils engage with learning, build positive relationships, and achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEMH, PRU, SEND or alternative provision setting.
- Be calm, patient and resilient.
- Be confident supporting pupils with challenging behaviour.
- Be committed to building positive relationships with students.
- Have a genuine passion for helping young people succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
