SEMH Teacher

Job description

Our client school in Leyland are seeking a Teacher who has experience in SEMH and Speech and Language. You can be qualified in any subject as the school are open to who Teaching Personnel have available at this stage.

The role is full-time, to start after the May half-term and has the opportunity of becoming permanent, for the right person. (Temp-perm contract).

The school develops specific individual and personalised education for young people, aged 10-19 with EHC Plans for Social, Emotional and Mental Health, Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Specific Learning Difficulties. The school also has proven success with extremely vulnerable students who may have more complex and psychological difficulties.

The school provides a fully accredited, diverse curriculum balanced with social, emotional and therapeutic aspects to learning. The quality assured and unique KS2-KS5 programmes promote the students’ academic and social development allowing each individual to reach their potential and maximise their chances of achieving independence and living fulfilling lives as positive contributors to society.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
