Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint SEN Teachers to support children across Huddersfield and surrounding areas. You will be supporting children with a range of special educational needs including, but not limited to: ASC, ADHD, PMLD, SEMH and associated challenging behaviour.

The role:

  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with the curriculum and adapt according to individual needs
  • Deal with general class management with support
  • Supervise and plan activities in and outside the classroom
  • Ensure progress is clearly recorded in relevant systems
  • Use ICT effectively to support learning activities

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have an overseas criminal clearance or willing to apply for one
  • Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
  • Previous or relevant experience working with SEND children
  • Hold a QTS
  • Minimum of three months UK residency
  • We do not accept those on skilled worker visas, nor do we provide Visa sponsorship

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
