Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced SEMH LSA available Monday – Friday to support KS1 and KS2 students in a vibrant primary school based in Basingstoke from September 2026.

You must have previous experience supporting primary children with additional needs to be considered for this role.

Pay: £92.63 a day.

Temporary position with the view to go permanent for the right individual.

• Previous experience working with young children in an SEMH setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Resilient and strong behaviour management skills.
• A proactive and positive attitude.
• Willingness to adapt whilst under pressure.

Requirements:

• An enhanced child only DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
• Two contact references from most recent employers covering the last 24 months.
• An up to date CV outlining career history from education.
• Up to date CPD safeguarding training or willing to complete this.
• Proven experience working with SEMH children.
