Are you a motivated and adaptable Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work across Cardiff? We are currently seeking reliable Secondary Teaching Assistants who are happy to travel across the city and support a range of schools on both short-term and long-term assignments.
The Role
As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teachers in delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support learning and behaviour
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Support students with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
- Assist in creating an inclusive and engaging classroom experience

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working with young people (school, youth work, coaching, etc.)
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A proactive, adaptable, and professional attitude
- Willingness to travel across Cardiff for different placements
- A genuine passion for supporting students and making a difference

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
