Job Title: Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary:
£80 - £90 Per day
Job Duties:
- Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in a secondary school setting
- Assist SEN students with their learning and development
- Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
- Help students with personal care needs, if required
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
- Relevant experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Understanding of SEN teaching methods and strategies
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
Education:
GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of SEN teaching methods and strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Patience and empathy when working with SEN students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- First Aid training
Working Conditions:
- Work in a secondary school environment
- Full-time hours, temporary position
- Potential for personal care duties

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
