Secondary School Support Staff
(Teaching Assistant & Cover Supervisor)
Temporary | Full-time

Are you confident, supportive, and passionate about helping young people thrive? We’re working with a range of secondary schools looking for versatile support staff who can work as both Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who enjoys variety in their role and wants to make a real impact in the classroom.

What the role involves:

  • Providing support to teachers and pupils across different subjects

  • Leading classes during teacher absences using pre-set work

  • Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement

  • Helping create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is confident working with secondary-aged pupils

  • Has strong communication and classroom management skills

  • Is reliable, adaptable, and friendly

  • Has previous experience in schools (preferred but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
