Location: Rhondda Cynon Taf, Merthyr Tydfil & Caerphilly
Contract Types: Full-time, Part-time & Flexible Opportunities
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Start Date: ASAP / September start available


About the Role

Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a range of secondary schools across RCT and surrounding areas who are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic educators to deliver engaging Science lessons.

Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT/NQT, this is a fantastic opportunity to join supportive schools and make a real impact in the classroom.


Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Delivering engaging Science lessons (Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics)
  • Planning and preparing lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
  • Encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for Science
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school team

We’re Looking For:

  • ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it
  • ✅ Specialism in Science (any discipline)
  • ✅ Strong classroom management skills
  • ✅ A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners
  • ✅ A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach

Requirements

We can support you in obtaining:

  • EWC Registration
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Two professional references

A full driving licence is desirable but not essential.
