Science Teacher – Secondary School (Wirral)

Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Long-term or Permanent Opportunities Available

Teaching Personnel is currently supporting a well-regarded mainstream secondary school on the Wirral in their search for a passionate Science Teacher to start in September 2026.

The school prides itself on strong behaviour management, modern science facilities, and a committed staff team. Specialisms in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics are all welcome.

Key duties include:

  • Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
  • Encouraging curiosity and practical learning
  • Preparing students for GCSE examinations
  • Working collaboratively within the Science department

To be considered, you must have:

  • QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary setting
  • A commitment to high-quality teaching and learning

This role is ideal for teachers seeking job security, progression, and the option of a permanent contract.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
