We currently have a vacancy in the North Birmingham area for a science teacher within a Special school. This is a full-time position, with an immediate start. Initially, it will be on a temporary contract, with the potential to transition to a full-time role within the school. The school is conveniently situated near tram lines, bus stops, and a train station, with easy access for drivers from main roads. The school's staff is welcoming, emphasizing student excellence, fostering a positive environment for the team and enhancing the quality of education provided. The students are actively engaged in learning, allowing you to focus entirely on the subject matter.

Key Information:

  • The salary for this role aligns with the standard teaching pay scale MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance depending on your experience.
  • Immediate start
  • To be eligible for this role, you must be a qualified teacher with relevant science-related qualifications.
  • This is a full-time position with working hours from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
  • The role involves teaching in a secondary school.
  • You will be responsible for both lesson planning and marking.
