SCIENCE TEACHER

YORK

 

I am looking for a Science Teacher on behalf of a secondary school located in York. My client is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Science to join their successful department as soon as posible.

This is a temporary full time position, with the view of becoming permanent for the most suitable Science Teacher.

This post provides an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Newly Qualified Science Teacher (NQT) who is passionate about Science and has the ability to demonstrate a positive and creative approach in the classroom. As a Science Teacher, you will teach across the full age and ability range (KS3 and KS4), whilst fully supported by the more senior teachers in the science department. Applications from experienced Science Teachers are encouraged too.

I am seeking a Science Teacher who:

  • Has got experience in UK secondary school
  • Taught all three sciences up to GCSE
  • Can adapt to new situations quickly & possess gumption
  • Has an upbeat and positive attitude towards the education of young people
  • Holds Newly Qualified Teacher Status (NQT) or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Possesses a DBS certificate registered on the Update Service! (or is willing to get one through Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
