Science Teacher – Yeovil

Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full‑time
Salary: £31,650 – £51,048

Are you a passionate and committed Science Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in the classroom? Teaching Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a high‑performing and well‑established secondary school in Yeovil, who are seeking a motivated Science specialist to join their thriving department.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, or equivalent)
  • An enhanced Child‑Only DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
  • Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Science at secondary level
  • Effective classroom management and organisational skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
  • Adaptability and a learner‑centred approach to teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
