Science Teacher Required – Salisbury

Secondary School | January Start | Full-Time & Part-Time Considered

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a secondary school in Salisbury that is seeking a committed and engaging Science Teacher to join their department from January.

This opportunity would suit a teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality Science education and is keen to join a supportive school environment with a strong focus on student progress and wellbeing.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering well-structured and engaging lessons that support pupils of varying abilities. The role may include:

  • Planning and delivering Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Assessing student progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly

  • Maintaining a positive and purposeful classroom environment

  • Working collaboratively with an established Science department

Both full-time and part-time applications will be considered, depending on availability and experience.

The Ideal Candidate

This role would be well suited to:

  • Qualified Science Teachers (QTS / QTLS), including ECTs

  • Teachers with strong subject knowledge and a clear enthusiasm for Science

  • Professionals with confident classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Teachers seeking either a short-term or longer-term opportunity from January

Experience teaching at secondary level is desirable, though strong early career teachers are encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
