Job description

We are working with a wide range of secondary schools and academies across North Manchester who are actively looking to appoint qualified and passionate Science Teachers for roles starting in September, with opportunities available for immediate start as well. These vacancies include full-time, part-time and permanent positions, offering flexibility to suit your availability and career goals.

Whether you specialise in Biology, Chemistry or Physics, or are confident delivering all three at KS3 and KS4, there are excellent opportunities available across modern, well-supported schools. Many of our partner schools are also open to newly qualified teachers and experienced practitioners alike, and welcome applications from teachers seeking long-term stability or a better work-life balance.

The successful Science Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, high-quality Science lessons, supporting pupil progress, and maintaining positive classroom environments. Roles typically involve teaching KS3 and KS4, with some opportunities at KS5 depending on subject specialism and experience.

To be considered, you should hold QTS (or be working towards it), have recent experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school, and demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication skills. A genuine enthusiasm for Science education and a commitment to student achievement are essential.
