Become a Science Tutor with Teaching Personnel – Mansfield & Nottinghamshire
Are you passionate about making Science engaging and accessible for young learners?
We’re seeking knowledgeable and enthusiastic Science tutors to work with students across Mansfield and Nottinghamshire. Whether you're a qualified teacher or an experienced Science tutor, this role offers the chance to ignite curiosity, improve academic outcomes, and build lasting confidence in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Providing tailored one-to-one or small group Science tuition
-
Breaking down key concepts in a way that’s easy to understand

Supporting learners at various ability levels, adapting your teaching style accordingly
-
Monitoring progress and delivering clear, constructive feedback
We’re Looking For Candidates Who:
-
Have experience tutoring or teaching Science (KS3, GCSE, or A-Level)
-
Hold a relevant teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or similar) – preferred but not essential
-
Communicate clearly and plan lessons effectively
-
Hold (or are willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
