Job Title: SEN Science Teacher
Location: Potterspury lodge
Contract Type: Full time
Salary: Depending on experience
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons to students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
- Work closely with SENCOs, teaching assistants, and therapists to develop personalised learning plans
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
- Track and assess student progress, setting realistic but ambitious targets
- Contribute to the wider school community and collaborate in planning interventions and enrichment activities
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent; experience in SEN education is highly desirable
- A strong understanding of the Science curriculum (KS3/KS4) and how to adapt it to meet diverse needs
- Patience, empathy, and excellent behaviour management skills
- A collaborative approach and commitment to personalised learning
- A positive, flexible mindset and a passion for inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
