SCIENCE TEACHER NEEDED FOR SEPTEMBER – 1 Year Contract

Teaching personnel are currently looking for an Experienced Science Teacher or Early Careers Science Teacher for one of our client schools in the Maidenhead area. It is a 1 year contract and commences in September 2023.

It is a full-time role and successful candidates will be taking on full departmental responsibilities including planning and delivering lessons as well as marking. The ideal candidate will specialise in either Chemistry, Biology or Physics and have experience teaching these up to A-Level.

The school are looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual who will encourage students and create an engaging atmosphere to aid students’ educational attainment.

Requirements for the role:

  • Hold QTS/ECT status in the UK or have equivalent qualifications.
  • Have experience teaching Science at a Secondary Level ideally up to KS5
  • Have experience teaching/covering Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
  • The right to work within the UK
  • The ability to provide two references from your most recent employers
  • Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Residing in the UK or have a UK address you are moving to in the near future to comply with the DBS requirements

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
