Science Teacher (Full Time) – Temp to Perm Contract
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join a vibrant, supportive secondary environment in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver high‑quality science teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 depending on experience.
This role is offered on a full‑time, temp‑to‑perm basis, with the potential to progress to a permanent post for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the science curriculum
- Assess and monitor student progress to ensure strong outcomes
- Inspire a love of learning and curiosity within the subject
- Contribute to curriculum development and department initiatives
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Support the wider school ethos through pastoral responsibilities and extracurricular involvement
About You
We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and strong ECTs. You should have:
- QTS or QTLS status
- Strong subject knowledge in science (any specialism welcome)
- A passion for raising achievement and delivering high‑quality lessons
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
- A positive, reflective, and resilient attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
