Secondary Science Teacher Wanted – Liverpool
Location: Liverpool, Merseyside
Salary: £160 – £260 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary (with potential for permanent placement)
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier for the right candidate)

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a dedicated Secondary Science Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Liverpool.
We are looking for specialists in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, with a commitment to high standards of teaching and student achievement.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum (KS3–KS4, with potential KS5)

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
-
Assess, monitor, and support student progress
-
Participate in department meetings and school events
Requirements:
-
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
-
Specialism in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
-
Experience teaching Science at secondary level in UK schools
-
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Strong classroom management and communication skills
