Science Teacher – Secondary School

Haslemere
Full-Time | FTC for 1 Year
Competitive Salary (MPS/UPS depending on experience)

A welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Haslemere is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join its successful Science department. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5 for suitable candidates.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics.
  • Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes.
  • Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of science.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school community.
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive and experienced department.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Has a degree in a Science-related subject.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Is passionate about student progress and achievement.
  • Can create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • ECTs and experienced teachers are equally encouraged to apply.
