Job Title: Science Teacher

Location: Epsom

Salary Range: £140 - £200 per day (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Employment Type: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary

Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students? We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our team at a mainstream secondary school in Epsom.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons to students of varying abilities (Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5)
  • Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to promote student engagement and achievement
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing effective strategies for improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver an inspiring curriculum that aligns with national standards and the school's objectives
  • Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a positive and collaborative learning community

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Degree in Science or a related field
  • Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level, preferably within a mainstream school
  • Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Understanding and knowledge of the UK national curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to develop a love for Science and achieve their academic goals
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with the latest educational practices

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
