Dudley | Full-Time | Permanent | September Start

A secondary school in Dudley is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join its successful department.

The school is looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging lessons that encourage students to develop their understanding of the world around them. Applications are welcomed from teachers specialising in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, as well as those able to teach general Science across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This opportunity would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop their careers within a supportive and well-resourced environment.

The Role

  • Teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students
  • Assessing, monitoring and supporting pupil progress
  • Creating a positive learning environment that promotes achievement
  • Working collaboratively within an established Science department

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science
  • Have high expectations of student achievement and behaviour
  • Be committed to supporting the academic and personal development of young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
