The Role

In this position, you will:

Deliver engaging, well‑planned Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
Promote strong student progress through high‑quality teaching and effective curriculum delivery
Use assessment strategies to inform planning and support learning
Create an inclusive and inspiring classroom environment where all students can thrive
Contribute to curriculum development and ongoing departmental innovation
Take part in broader school life, including clubs, activities, and enrichment opportunities

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will be:

A qualified Science Teacher with QTS, or an ECT completing their training
Confident teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 (all specialisms welcome)
Passionate about delivering engaging and purposeful lessons
Reflective, dedicated, and keen to grow professionally
Able to build positive relationships and inspire learners of all abilities

Requirements

QTS (or working towards QTS)
Strong subject knowledge in Science
Ability to teach confidently at KS3 and KS4
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
