Location: Bournemouth
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025

A vibrant and high-achieving mainstream secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and fully qualified Science Teacher to join their dynamic department from September 2025.

The successful candidate will have a strong subject knowledge in Science, the ability to teach engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and a passion for helping students achieve their full potential. You will be joining a supportive and forward-thinking team, committed to fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning in Science.

The role:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Assessing, tracking, and monitoring student progress

  • Contributing to the development of the Science curriculum and departmental resources

  • Participating in whole-school initiatives, enrichment activities, and events

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

  • Have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics welcomed)

  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills

  • Be committed to continuous professional development and collaborative working
