Science Teacher
Location: Bournemouth, UK
Position: Full-Time Science Teacher, could consider part time
Start Date: January 2025
A mainstream secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis starting in January (part time could be considered for the right person). This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and foster a love of science within a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging science lessons that meet the needs of all students (KS3 and KS4).
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum and promote interdisciplinary learning.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and support their academic growth.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and community outreach activities.
Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in a science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or a related field.
- A teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) and QTS status.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and improving student outcomes.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
